OlderKate Beckinsale: There Was No Casting Couch for 'Total Recall'!
Kate Beckinsale heads through LAX Airport with her daughter Lily and hubby Len Wiseman on Saturday (September 1) in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old actress recently spoke with The Herald Sun about getting cast by her husband Len in Total Recall.
“I feel comforted by the history of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, Helena and Tim, Leo and Marty… it’s quite apparent that directors just like working with actors they like. Anybody who thinks a husband of eight years is getting more (casting couch action) than some total stranger is on crack,” Kate said.

Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham-Carter and Leo are great actors, Tim Burton and Martin Scorsese are amazing directors, unlike Kate and her husband, they only make terrible movies with poor acting.
I love their close mother-daughter relationship. Very cute!
Um, you can rationalize all you want Kate, but of course you got the part because you’re shtumping the director. If he was married to Milla Jovovich and not you, well guess what, she’d have gotten the part.
