Robert Downey, Jr. Retuning as Iron Man in 'Avengers' Installments!

Robert Downey, Jr. has been confirmed to return to his beloved character Iron Man in two upcoming Avengers films, Marvel.com has revealed.

The 48-year-old actor was initially tight lipped about returning to the character, but will be headlining Marvel’s The Avengers 2 and Marvel’s The Avengers 3.

The Avengers 2, written and directed by Joss Whedon, is set to begin production next year with a release date of May 1, 2015.
