These 'Walking Dead' Stars Will Be Series Regulars for Season 5

Three cast members from The Walking Dead have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming fifth season!

Alanna Masterson, who plays Tara, and Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita, are two of the actors more familiar to audiences right now who have been promoted, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The other actor is Andrew J. West, whose character Gareth was first introduced during last night’s season finale as the leader of the possibly cannibalistic community Terminus.

“Seeing Gareth and Rick and the people of Terminus and our survivors go head-to-head is going to be interesting,” exec producer/comics creator Robert Kirkman told THR. “There is a very deep, dark and storied history to Terminus and how these people came to be that will be revealed in season five.”

The season finale episode delivered 15.7 million viewers last night to become the most watched finale of the series’ history!

Ugh can’t stand Alanna masterson or her character!

  • Isabel

@Vaorkim: I agree. I’d rather see them use her air time to focus on another member of the main cast.

  • Lisa

Alanna is great, but if they ever kill Rick, then they kill the Walking Dead show.

Love The Walking Dead. BUTTT, I find Alaana just not a good actress. Sorry if that sounds harsh. I actually started to hate Glenn because she was with him. As for Andrew I just hope it’s not a long drawn out stay at Terminus. But, if he’s becoming a regular ughhhh. Hate that we have to wait over 6 months for it to come back on. I read on another site where someone said it would be great if TWD would give us an episode in the summer to thank us fans. I AGREE!

  • Effy

Honestly, TWD stopped being a good series last year. It’s just laughable now, especially the last thing Rick said on the series finale.

  • Al

TWD Season 3 was probably the worst season. And the last line Rick said in the season 4 finale was from the comics, only it was f*cking instead of screwing.

  • Al

Really, JustJared? We can’t say scr*wing without it being censored? Wow.

All right, all right, all right…Christian on my favorite show! Life is good!

  • Ariel

Way to go Christian, playing my favorite character in the series.
