Maroon 5 Performing at the MTV VMAs 2014 For the First Time Ever!

Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 are set to play at the 2014 MTV VMAs for the first time ever!

“We are so excited about our upcoming new album and to be part of the great VMA lineup this year. It is our first time doing the show and we are thrilled to be on it performing our new single,” Adam said in a statement (via the band’s Facebook page), along with a pic announcing the news!

The band will perform a single off of their album V on a “special VMA stage.” We can’t wait!

The 2014 MTV VMAs will air live on Sunday (August 24) on MTV at 9pm EST. Be sure to tune in!
