Ice Bucket Challenge Accepted by All These Celebs - Watch Now!

Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Morrison, and Geoff Stults are just some of the celebs accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge!

Joanna Garcia, Nick Swisher, Lance Bass, Martha Stewart, Matt Lauer, and Matt Harvey also accepted the challenge to raise money for ALS Association to find a cure for ALS.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a “progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.”

If you haven’t already, please donate to help fund research for a cure for ALS.

Make sure to check out Ansel Elgort‘s video of himself going shirtless for the challenge as well!

As I said on the Ansel Elgort post… Everyone’s body is different and someone could have their body go into shock from having ice too cold dumped over their head. There has to be a better way to raise money. I wish people would find another way to support ALS and stop doing this challenge. I saw someone do it to their dog on Instagram…if something happened to the dog because of it, I’m sure their owner would have felt terrible.

Been to 2 Tough Mudder events where they have an obstacle called Arctic *****. It required us to plunge into neck deep ice cold water then go under water to reach the other side of the wall so we can go out. This ice bucket challenge is nothing compared to Arctic *****. Don’t get the connection with ALS. Might as well send out chain letters requiring people to donate money to ALS organization.

Which came first? The NCAA women’s basketball “Chilling for charity” which donated to the Kay Yow foundation or the celebrity ice bucket challenge? The college challenge looked brutal with most of them using the big Gatorade buckets 1/2 filled with ice.

If anyone wants to donate, even $5, I have a team that walks annually in the CT ALS Walk, in memory of my grandma who passed from ALS in 2004. Even the smallest amount counts to the goal and is very appreciated.

Some friends of mine are trying to raise funds to get STEPHEN COLBERT to dunk… and he’s crowdfunding a bribe to make it happen :) it’s already raised $2,000 from his generous friends, and all the money they’re raising goes directly to a cure. Help us out here:
