The tragedy isn’t that Robin is gone as much as his every, single day tenuous grip to not leave…The sadness & loneliness that is suicide.

Sincere sympathy to his family & close friends. You must be devestated.

I watched & followed his career from the start. So very, very gutted.

    :(

@Shame, @Effy and Sayer: You guys are really mad because Miley said she was crying over Robin’s death? What she can’t mourn over someone who happened to be a favorite actor of a lot of people who were her age as a child or mourn like the rest of the celebrities tweeting? Please, find something better to do with your time instead of bashing celebrities you don’t happened to like over every little thing that they do. All you’re doing is giving a celebrity you claim to hate more attention.

At a Bruce Springsteen show at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles in the 80s, Robin was there ushering people into Clarence Clemons backstage dressing room saying, “Hughes, party of four! Right this way!” that sort of thing and it was hilarious to watch if you were there. Clarence got a real laugh out of it and if he were here, I know he would mention it so I am mentioning it for him. RIP. Both of you.

My heart is broken. Mrs. Doubtfire, RV, Jumanji, Night at the Museum, Jack, Good Will Hunting, the world certainly won’t be the same. I remember reading a story about Robin dressing as his goofy character from Nine Months to go and visit Christopher Reeve in the hospital after his accident to cheer him up. He was a nice man and very special to the world.
Rest in peace, Robin, we’ll miss you.

    melissa Says:

I don’t think I ever cried harder about a celebrity passing away. I absolutely love Robin Williams. I grew up watching Mork & Mindy… I remember watching it when I was three years old. He was favorite actor of all time. He was a great comedic but even better, in my opinion, at serious roles and definitely changed the way I saw things in life in some of those roles. I am so sad to hear he passed away.

“What’s wrong with death sir? What are we so mortally afraid of? Why can’t we treat death with a certain amount of humanity and dignity, and decency, and God forbid, maybe even humor. Death is not the enemy gentlemen. If we’re going to fight a disease, let’s fight one of the most terrible diseases of all, indifference.” – Patch Adams

I always thought he was wound too tight. His improv, his actions. He was a ticking time bomb. So sad that he couldn’t find inner peace, and deal with his demons, so he could continue to entertain all. He had a gift unfortunately it was too much for him. RIP Mr. Williams, we will never forget you.
