No words…we’ve lost another legend. She was one of the few stars we had left from the Golden Age. I always thought she was one of the most beautiful and charismatic actresses to ever on screen. She was also a fascinating woman who lived a long and amazing life. I am grateful she shared so much of herself with the world. May she rest in peace.

  • RIP Lauren

She had a wonderful career too, she was acting even well into the 2000s!

Another amazing star leaves us – An amazing actress – God Bless & RIP Lauren. Condolances to her kids and family.

  • Love The Shoes

I am a serious Bogie & Bacall fan and have all four of the movies they made together beginning with their “Mr and Mrs. Smith” or in other words, the one were they met and fell in love; TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT. Seriously, I am a BIG fan. My other fav’s of her are HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE (with Marilyn Monroe) and DESIGNING WOMAN. She was 19 and Bogie was 25 years older when they met and yes, he was married to his third wife at the time. He and that wife were on the skids prior to meeting Bacall who subsequently became his fourth and last wife and the love of his life. His only children were the ones he had with her. She would have been 90 on September 16 and sad as I am, I’m glad she leaves an amazing legacy.

P.S……it was Laruen Bacall who first called the “Rat Pack” the Rat Pack.
