'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Stays at No. 1, 'Let's Be Cops' Tops 'Expendables 3' at Weekend Box Office
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles maintains its No. 1 position at the top of the box office this weekend with $28.4 million grossed!
According to THR, the flick, starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and more, now has a domestic total of $117.6 million.
Keeping the No. 2 spot was Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, and more, which earned an additional $24.7 million for a total of $222.3 million so far.
The new comedy Let’s Be Cops, starring Jake Johnson, Damon Wayans Jr., and Nina Dobrev, impressed with a $17.7 million debut.
Unfortunately, the star-studded action flick Expendables 3 fell below expectations, bringing in $16.2 million in its first weekend.
Rounding out the top five was The Giver, starring Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, and Katie Holmes, which earned a respectable $12.7 million.
