Joan Rivers' Family Releases Another Statement: 'We Are Keeping Our Fingers Crossed'

While Joan Rivers remains in the hospital, her family remains hopeful.

In a new statement released on Sunday (August 31), the 81-year-old comedian’s daughter Melissa said, “We are keeping our fingers crossed.”

Joan is still in serious condition after being admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital on Thursday (August 28) in New York City’s Upper East Side. She stopped breathing and went into cardiac and respiratory arrest while a doctor was checking on a chronic problem with her vocal cords.

Since then, celebrities have taken to social media to send their well wishes.
