Since Renee Zellweger hit the red carpet showing off a brand new look earlier this week, the Internet went crazy – and it sure was a coincidence when a well timed Renee joke was featured on Tuesday night’s episode of Selfie!

In the scene, Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) is helping her co-worker Charmonique (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) get ready for her high school reunion.

“Now he remembers me with the Mary J. Blige, but a part of me wants to flip the script and hit him with Erykah Badu,” Charmonique says while trying on wigs, to which Eliza replies, “Mmm-hmm. I understand that instinct. But when you completely reinvent your look, you run the risk of people not knowing who the hell you are…i.e., Renée Zellweger, who still looks good…But doesn’t look a damn thing like Miss Renée Zellweger”
