Kathy Griffin Probably Won't Be Taking Over for Joan Rivers on 'Fashion Police' Because She 'Tested Poorly'

Kathy Griffin probably will not be taking over Joan Rivers‘ job on Fashion Police after sources say she didn’t do great in the focus testing.

“They did some focus group testing on Kathy Griffin,” a source told The Wrap. “The problem viewers mentioned is she’d always be compared to Joan, but never actually as good as her. She was tested and tested poorly because she was too close to Joan‘s comedic sensibility.”

Other possible contenders now include Tyra Banks and NeNe Leakes, but nothing has been confirmed. “They should admit that no one can replace Joan and just have a revolving cast of guest co-hosts like Ross Mathews, Tyra, so on,” another source added.
