Chris Hemsworth has been named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive 2014!

The 31-year-old Thor actor follows in the footsteps of men such as Adam Levine, Channing Tatum, and many others who have been crowned the special title.

The big reveal came on Tuesday (November 18) during Jimmy Kimmel Live and the talk show host had his audience members ask Chris questions while his face was behind a mask and his voice was changed.

“I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” Chris told People. “I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.’ ”

Chris is about to have a big year with the release of several new films including The Avengers: Age of Ultron, In the Heart of the Sea, Blackhat, and Vacation.

“Liam‘s been good… he’s been a real team player with this one,” Chris said about his famous brother’s reaction to the title.
