Prince William's Wife Kate Middleton Got Emotional & Shed Tears at a Charity Event

Prince William looks so suave in a tuxedo at the Tusk Conservation awards held at Claridges Hotel on Tuesday evening (November 25) in London, England.

The 32-year-old royal’s wife Kate Middleton was seen at the appeal launch event of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices earlier in the day looking amazing!

At the event, a woman named Leigh Smith told Duchess Kate the story of her newborn baby daughter, who sadly passed away.

“I wrote to Kate after Beatrice‘s death to tell her about the amazing support I’d received from EACH,” Leigh said (via Us Weekly). “She wrote a personal letter back to me saying what an honor it was to hear my story. I thought that was so lovely as obviously it was such an honor to hear back from her. She said she was very touched to hear Beatrice‘s story.”

At the event, Duchess Kate reportedly had tears in her eyes when she told Leigh, “You’re a very brave lady – I’m just so, so sorry.”
