Chris Martin's 'Fix You' Was Written For Gwyneth Paltrow After Her Father's Death

Chris Martin exits the Sunset Marquis after celebrating Caleb Followill‘s birthday on Wednesday evening (January 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 37-year-old Coldplay singer estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow gave a very revealing interview to Howard Stern that same day. Gwyneth revealed that Chris‘ song “Fix You” is about Gwyneth after her father Bruce passed away.

“‘Fix You’ was about him trying to put me back together after my dad died,” Gwyneth added, before including that he wrote “a few” songs for her. “I think it’s pretty nice.”
