Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have released a joint statement regarding their decision to get divorced.

“Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years,” the 30-year-old entertainer and 40-year-old singer said to JustJared.com in a statement.

The couple continued, saying: “It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”

Mandy and Ryan got married in 2009, but have no children together.
