Jim Parsons to Play God in Broadway's 'An Act of God'

Jim Parsons just signed on to play the role of God in the upcoming Broadway comedy An Act of God, Variety reports!

The 41-year-old The Big Bang Theory star has been on Broadway in the past – his last bow was in the 2012 revival of Harvey.

Sadly, Jim won’t be in Tony award contention this season because the show is set to open after the 2014-15 season’s eligibility cutoff of April 23. But he will be eligible for the 2015-16 awards!
