Justin Bieber Posts Video Apology for His Arrogant Behavior

Justin Bieber has posted a lengthy video to apologize to fans for his arrogant behavior over the last year. The video came on Wednesday night (January 28) after he taped an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I just wanted to make a video because I wanted to express how I feel right now,” the 20-year-old singer says in the clip. “Today, I was on Ellen and it was a lot of fun. She’s amazing, it was her birthday, but I was really nervous. I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about about me right now.”

“It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half,” Justin continued.

“I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.”

“I just felt awkward up there. I felt like people were judging me, and I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I’m not that person to say, ‘I don’t give a f*ck,’ you know? I’m not that kid. I’m a person who genuinely cares. And although what’s happened in the past has happened, I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft. And although people can call me a ‘softy,’ that’s how my mom raised me.”

In a second video he added…

“I like talking to you guys on here. It’s our own spot. Thanks for always being there for me. I know I haven’t always made it easy. I love you all. I appreciate u so much. We are growing together and I will always try to be better. Thank you.”

  • ♛ Bugatti Bieber ♛

He has thousands of fans all over the world he don’t need “Damage” control

  • Everything is PR

That’s exactly why he needs damage control. He def has a good PR team n im guessin his new is comin out soon too

  • britney

I love you so much god bless you

  • Scott Doxtator

he sees the money and the offers aren’t coming in like they used to and it’s freaking him out. if he had a better support system they would help guide his career into something different. but all he knows is celebrity. instead of talking to a therapist or a friend he’s alone in a dark room speaking into a camera and beaming a video into a social void. he probably doesn’t have a single true friend. i don’t really feel bad for him, it just shows you how fickle the “fans” will be.

  • Joy123

i think he bombed ellen’s interview. he was nervous.

  • Scott Doxtator

millions? it’s probably down to the thousands now, and dropping.

  • j k

    what the hell? weird

  • Aaron Williams

Cool. But actions speak louder than words. Justin can say this now and then blasted tomorrow on TMZ for calling a lady fat on camera while shopping. You would basically be contradicting your word, and in turn, people will see that you really haven’t put much effort into changing. Therefore, your apology will mean absolutely nothing.

Sounds like his PR people have told him he needs to ‘fix his image’. He’s a spoiled child. He will always be a spoiled child. Give him a couple of months and he’ll be doing something else terrible. He’ll never change.

Justin hasn’t had a hit song or record that millions of fans have purchased since 2012. Name a song the last 2-3 years that spent weeks on the Billboard top 10 or even top 50. He may still have fans, but his music sales have plummeted with low album sales and no hit songs in quite a few years now. Even Selena has had many more top ten hits the last 2-3 years than Justin. He needs a few hit records that get heavy radio play and downloads for his popularity to continue or it will eventually trickle out. It still all comes down to the music – can you produce a # 1 song or not.

    And i’m one of them

  • Mariah

So what do you idiots want him to do? If he bought every homeless person a home with food and water you’d still say it’s for PR. Goes to show that you are intimidated by someone’s success and strength, so you bring them down as much as possible.

  • Sam

he needs to apologize for that janitor whom he peed on his bucket.. and the neighbor whom he egged his home.

Damage control. Image. It’s nothing more than that. He’s still a horse’s as*.

  • https://twitter.com/thedreadofpenny Penny Dreadful

He had trouble with his act. And it was an act. If it was real we wouldn’t be sitting here saying he bombed the interview. It was all a farce, and because it doesn’t exist in his heart he had an awkward time trying to pull it off.

  • Ashley

All that matters, and confident were pretty big hits, i dont know what tf you’re talking about lmao. when it comes to money JB is set for life. if he wanted to quit right now he could, so i doubt its damage control rather then just wanting to show people he’s progressing and getting better.

  • beth

i love justin…….will never understand why so many people are HATERS on him……he is a good guy !

  • jansms

sorry I don’t think you realise how much money justin actually makes. he’s had 2 world tours which have made millions of dollars. think of all the cds, movies and things people buy from his shop and from his tour. he’s published a few books and two movies. what about the money he gets given to sponser certain clothing brands, and most recently his calvin klein campaign. he gets paid a lot of money, and he doesn’t need ‘damage control’ the boy has made a lot of mistakes, even I as a belieber can say. but the fact that he is actually trying to become a better person and you’re still bringing him down is ridiculous, maybe you should look at yourself before you judge another person. Justin Bieber started off with nothing, and he worked his way up from the bottom, he is not stuck up or greedy, infact he donates a huge amount of his earnings to charities. The amount of hate he gets, people who had never heard of him would think he bombed families, he’s never done anything to you. it’s just what the media has portrayed of him.

  • Gabi S

now he need to apologize for his music.

  • JC

I’m sure the 23 previous posts before me already pointed how this “dude” looks more & more like a girl… right?? I wonder if Bieber gets any gender transformation tips from Bruce Jenner. They could like be BFFs I we just don’t know it.

  • Talliyah

I’m so proud of him. I’ve been a big support of Justin since 08′, and I don’t regret it one bit. I’ve gained even more respect for him after this video. He is a human being who makes mistakes like everybody else, and he’s owning up to what he has done which is awesome! I love him and will always be a big fan <3 and I don't care if anyone doesn't agree with me. I love you Justin.

  • EffortPoints

    He just did.

  • VicT

Is that the First time he’s smiled in a pic in over a year? He usually has a wrinkled forehead.

BTW you said you were sorry but were spotted yesterday leaving a hair salon with 2 dirty couch seats covering your head. Michael Jacksonesque.

  • Jane Barr

    how old are you? belieber.

  • Leah

He’s lying guys. Did you see his two older racist videos that got leaked? This kid has always been horrible. He knows his fame is going down the drain and he’s just to come back on top. How spiteful.

  • Leah

He needs to apologize for egging his neighbors house, spitting on his fans, and thinking nig*** jokes are funny.

  • Friedrich

He comes off really dumb! I’m not really going to weigh in on the phony apology, which it obviously is. But he can barely even keep a straight face saying it. Like low-IQ dumb.

  • Dre_Anthony

    Grow up.
