James Holmes Found Guilty in Aurora Movie Theater Shooting
James Holmes has been found guilty of murdering twelve people and wounding dozens more in the Colorado movie theater shooting.
The 27-year-old former neuroscience graduate student is eligible for the death penalty for his crimes in the 2012 shooting.
The jurors, who deliberated over two days for about 13 hours, will be the ones who decide if Holmes is executed or sent to prison for life.
While prosecutors showed that Holmes had been planning the attack for months, his lawyers argued that he was mentally ill and unable to tell right from wrong.
