Maroon 5 is reportedly being eyed for the upcoming 2016 Super Bowl halftime performance!

According to E! News, the rock band, led by Adam Levine, are the frontrunners for the big event, which will take place on February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The site reports that the band has had “extensive talks” about performing at the big football event.

Previous reports indicated that Bruno Mars was asked to headline the show again after hitting the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers back in 2014.
