Maggie Gyllenhaal to Star in 3 Short Films for Jameson Whiskey

Maggie Gyllenhaal keeps a low profile in her shades and hat while leaving a doctor’s office on Wednesday (March 30) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

It was announced recently that the 38-year-old actress will be starring in three short films sponsored by Jameson Whiskey.

Maggie joined forces with Trigger Street Productions to judge 20 short scenes and treatments from a pool of 2,700 scripts.

“I so rarely find a script that speaks to me, but all 20 spoke to me,” Maggie told Variety. “Out of those, I picked the three I thought I could act best with.”

“I’m just approaching this the way I’d make any movie,” she added. “I definitely want to defer to (the filmmakers) but I also want them to know what it’s like to work with an actor.”
