Bruce Springsteen Covers 'Purple Rain' for Prince (Video)

Bruce Springsteen honored the late Prince during his concert at the Barclays Center on Saturday night (April 23) in New York City.

The 66-year-old entertainer opened the show with a moving cover of the 1984 hit single “Purple Rain.” Watch the video below!

Also paying tribute to Prince that night was Elton John, who called him a “purple warrior” during his show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.

    Wonderful tribute, and it couldn’t have come from someone better than the Boss, another fantastic musician. So sad that first David Bowie and now Prince are gone. The legends are gone, but never forgotten.
