Johnny Depp's Mother Betty Sue Palmer Dies Days Before Amber Heard Files for Divorce

Johnny Depp‘s mother has sadly passed away.

The 52-year-old Alice Through the Looking Glass star’s mom Betty Sue Palmer died on Friday (May 20) in Los Angeles, according to ET. She was 81 years old.

Betty was reportedly suffering from a long illness.

Back in 2004, Johnny brought her as his date to the Oscars where he was nominated for the first time for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Meanwhile, it was just revealed that Johnny‘s wife of one year, Amber Heard, filed for divorce earlier this week.
