Kesha Drops Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Dr. Luke

Kesha has decided to drop her sexual assault case against Dr. Luke in order to focus on her comeback in the music business.

The 29-year-old singer’s lawyer has revealed that she has written 28 new songs and delivered them to Kemosabe Records with hopes of releasing a new single and album soon.

“Kesha is focused on getting back to work and has delivered 28 new songs to the record label,” lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said in a statement to BuzzFeed News. “We have conveyed to Sony Music and the label Kesha‘s strong desire to release the single and an album as soon as possible.”

Kesha was denied her request to be released from her contract with the label by a New York judge earlier this year.
