Jared Leto Doesn't Think Gay Men Have Same Opportunites as Straight Men in Hollywood
Jared Leto steps out of his hotel on Thursday night (August 4) in London, England.
The 44-year-old Oscar-winning actor was joined by his Suicide Squad co-star Will Smith. They reportedly attended a private screening of the film that night.
In his new interview with GQ Style, Jared opened up about his thoughts on the opportunities that gay men have in Hollywood.
“I definitely don’t think a gay leading man would have the same opportunities as a straight leading man,” Jared said. “I don’t think that. Not for a single second. I don’t know if that’s offensive or not, but that’s my thought right now. It shouldn’t be that way. I don’t think you’ll have as many opportunities. And I think you could say the same for minorities…. I think that this is still a very conservative business.”
