Hillary Clinton Calls Donald Trump to Concede in 2016 Election

While she has not given her concession speech yet, Hillary Clinton called up her opponent Donald Trump on election night to concede in the race.

Trump confirmed he received the phone call while giving his victory speech in the early morning hours of Wednesday (November 9) in New York City.

“I’ve just received a call from secretary Clinton. She congratulated us. It’s about us. On our victory, and I congratulated her and her family on a very, very hard-fought campaign,” Trump told his supporters. “I mean she fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country.”

Hillary‘s campaign chair says that she will take to the stage in the morning to give her speech to the American people.
