Kenny G Surprises Delta Passengers With Mid-Flight Concert (Video)

Kenny G gave an unexpected performance in the air over the weekend!

The 60-year-old saxophonist treated passengers on board a Delta flight from Tampa Bay to Los Angeles to an impromptu concert on Saturday (April 22).

An off-duty flight attendant was reportedly sitting next to Kenny when she told him the the flight attendants were trying to raise $1,000 for the Delta G.O. Relay for Life to help those battling cancer and to honor her daughter who had lost her own battle with brain cancer, according WFLA.

Kenny responded by telling the passengers that he would give them a private show if they could meet the donation goal.

In about five minutes, the travelers raised over $2,000 for the American Cancer Society.

“Thanks @kennyg for the impromptu concert to help us raise funds for @RelayForLife,” Delta tweeted. Kenny replied, “Happy to help!”
