Neil Patrick Harris Calls James Woods 'Utterly Ignorant' Over Transphobic Tweet

Neil Patrick Harris is slamming James Woods over a recent picture he posted from the Orange County Pride Parade in California.

The 70-year-old Once Upon a Time in America actor posted a picture on Twitter of a young boy and his family at the Pride Parade as his parents held up posters that read, “I love my gender creative son!” and “My son wears dresses & makeup… Get over it!!”

Along with the picture, James tweeted, “This is sweet. Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you’ve done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage.”

After the photo went viral, Neil took to Twitter to slam James‘ “ignorant” tweet.

“Utterly ignorant and classless, Mr. Woods,” Neil wrote. “I’m friends with this family. You know not of what you speak, and should be ashamed of yourself.”

This isn’t the first time James found himself in hot water with his tweets.

Earlier this year, James was slammed after he wrote a homophobic tweet about Anderson Cooper.
