Taylor Swift Sings with Special Guest Shawn Mendes at Pasadena Tour Stop! (Video)

Taylor Swift welcomes her friend Shawn Mendes to the stage for a surprise performance during her latest reputation Stadium Tour stop on Friday (May 18) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

Shawn was previously an opening act on one of Taylor‘s tours and he joined her to perform his song “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back.”

In an Instagram story video that was filmed during sound check, Taylor praised one of his new songs.

“I’m going to sound check because at the Rose Bowl we have a very special guest, someone who I’ve toured with before, and I’m really really excited,” Taylor said. “We’re going to surprise the crowd tonight at Rose Bowl. And your new song is amazing. ‘Where Were You in the Morning’ is incredible. Stream it, buy it, get that promo!”
