Slothrust Debuts 'Double Down' Music Video - Watch Now!

Slothrust is back with a brand new single called “Double Down,” and you can watch the accompanying music video right here!

The group – made up of songwriter and guitar player Leah Wellbaum, drummer Will Gorin and bassist Kyle Bann – released their latest track on Friday (July 13).

“The video for ‘Double Down’ is really centered around levitation and magic. It’s about not knowing your own powers, and having them pour out of you in unexpected places. Otherworldly strength is going to manifest for people differently, and you’ve got to learn to harness it and let it feed you, not drain you,” says Leah.

“[The song] is about connecting with inner strength in a time where so many people are projecting pain onto each other. As a queer artist, it feels anthemic to me. It’s about being able to rise high above the scum and see the beauty and power that exists in each of us—let’s help each other embrace that.”

The group’s upcoming studio album, The Pact, will be released on September 14.
