Dove Cameron to Make London Stage Debut with Renee Fleming

Dove Cameron will be starring in the stage musical The Light in the Piazza in London next summer!

The 22-year-old actress will make her London stage debut alongside opera singer Renee Fleming in the musical, which was first produced on Broadway in 2005.

Renee told the Daily Mail that playing Margaret Johnson in the musical “was an opportunity [she] couldn’t resist.”

On Dove playing her daughter in the show, Renee said, “She’s blonde, she’s vivacious. She’s everything [composer Adam Guettel] was envisaging for the role.”

The production will run for just 20 performances at the Royal Festival Hall from June 14 until July 5.

The Light in the Piazza is one of Dove‘s favorite musicals and she has been tweeting about it for years!
