Alia Shawkat Debuts Shaved Head at Miu Miu Event

Alia Shawkat poses on the red carpet while attending the Miu Miu Women’s Tales No. 17 screening on Friday night (January 25) at the Vista Theater in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old actress showed off her buzzed haircut while attending the event.

Alia stars in the new short film Shako Mako, which was directed by Hailey Gates.

“It’s a role I’ve always hoped to play, an actress who wants a part too much? I can relate to that. And I feel really lucky to be able to connect to my heritage this way,” Alia said in a statement.

Alia is best known for her work on the television series Arrested Development and Search Party.
