Serena Williams Says She's 'Still Learning' While Playing Tennis (VIDEO)

Serena Williams is opening up about getting back on the court!

During her interview on Good Morning America on Thursday (January 31), the 37-year-old tennis superstar says that she’s still learning 10 months after starting to play tennis again.

“I learned that when I’m in the lead…I’m a closer, I’m really known to be a closer, Serena shared. “It’s little moments like that, that you just don’t think about because you spend so much time away…I’ve learned little things that I used to do that I have to be like, ‘Oh, okay, I remember that. Oh, so now I won’t do that again.’”

After welcoming Alexis Olympia with husband Alexis Ohanian back in September 2017, Serena only took two months off before playing tennis competitively again.

“Everything that I’ve done in 10 months has already been crazy. It’s still little lessons that I’m learning and I’m happy for those lessons,” Serena said before adding that having a daughter is the “best thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
