Kylie Jenner Is Officially the World's Youngest Billionaire!

She did it: Kylie Jenner is a billionaire!

The 21-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star and beauty entrepreneur is now the world’s youngest billionaire, according to Forbes on Tuesday (March 5).

With her Kylie Cosmetics business, Kylie made the magazine’s ranking for richest people of 2019, and the billionaires list for the first time. She is also declared as the “youngest self-made billionaire ever.”

Forbes estimates Jenner’s company is worth at least $900 million. She owns all of it. Add in the cash Jenner has already pulled from the profitable business, and the 21-year-old is now a billionaire, with an estimated fortune of $1 billion. She’s the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, reaching a ten-figure fortune at a younger age than even Mark Zuckerberg (who was 23 when he hit that mark),” the publication declares.

Congratulations on all your success, Kylie!

yeah, that’s what PMK told Forbes. she is NOT a billionaire. she does not have a billion dollars in the bank.

I know people have different opinions on this matter, but I do not think of her as “self-made.” I think of her as a girl who was born into an incredibly privileged and wealthy family who smartly capitalized on her the fame and the opportunities that were handed to her on a silver plate. If her family wasn’t already established with their own show and dozens of brands, I wonder how successful her line would actually be.

I mean, I guess Forbes would know best, but owning a company that’s “worth” a billion dollars is not the same as being a billionaire, is it? I remember his was a conversation with Jessica Alba/The Honest Company a few years back…running a billion-dollar company, though impressive, does not mean you “have” a billion dollars – there’s a distinction and the people writing about it either don’t understand that, or are purposely putting that spin on it because they know Kylie is a polarizing figure and they want the clicks/comments.

Wealth is determined by assets and not all are liquid. KJ owning 100% of a $900 million company with at least $100 million in other assets via salary, property, investments, bank account, etc. does mean she is a billionaire.
Some others own just a percentage of a company and thus only have the worth of their percentage to count as their personal assets,

I’m not buying this and I’m surprised anybody would. Celebrity Net Worth broke down why it’s fake and it makes more sense than her being a billionaire for selling lipstick: https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/models/kylie-jenner-net-worth/

Damn people are nit picky. She may not be self made but at least she isn’t relying on a man to pay her way in life.

  • J.K.

    She did by association.
