Kate Middleton Becomes Patron of Royal Photographic Society 67 Years After Queen Elizabeth!
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) joins a photography workshop for Action for Children, run by the Royal Photographic Society at Warren Park on Tuesday (June 25) in Kingston, England.
The charitable organization aims to “Do what’s right for children. Do what’s needed. Do what works.”
On this same day, it was announced that Queen Elizabeth would be passing on her role as the patron of the Royal Photographic Society to Duchess Kate! Queen Elizabeth had previously been a patron of the society for 67 years!
“The Duchess of Cambridge has a longstanding interest in photography, and this patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people,” the Palace announced.
