The Rock Reveals How Kevin Hart Is Doing After Serious Injury

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is providing an update on how his good friend Kevin Hart is doing after he was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in a back injury that needed surgery.

“Everything is good, I spoke with Kevin, I actually refer to him as my son. I connected with him today. And you know what? These things happen in life and thankfully he was strapped in nicely to his car seat,” Dwayne joked while making an appearance on Kelly Clarkson‘s talk show debut episode. “That’s real love.”

Kidding aside, The Rock added that Kevin is “doing very well.”

“I love the guy, he’s one of my best friends,” he added. “And honestly, I mean, thank God, it could’ve been a lot worse. So, he’s a lucky man, and he knows it too. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery and I’m gonna see him soon.”

Kevin Hart was actually supposed to be Kelly Clarkson‘s very first guest on her show, but The Rock stepped in last minute after Kevin‘s accident.
