William Hurt Photographed on 'Black Widow' Set, Fans Theorize He Could Be Filming End Credits Scene
Actor William Hurt is photographed on the set of Marvel’s Black Widow movie on Tuesday (October 1) in Macon, Ga.
The 69-year-old actor plays the role of General “Thunderbolt” Ross in the Marvel universe, and he appeared in Infinity War as an antagonist to Captain America and Black Widow, and was also spotted in Endgame at the funeral scene.
Podcaster Charles Murphy was one of the first to theorize that William Hurt could be back on set to film a post-credits scene.
“William Hurt, aka Thunderbolt Ross, is currently on the set of what I believe to be additional photography for ‘BLACK WIDOW.’ [Scarlett Johansson] is not believed to be there. Could Ross be visiting with Yelena in a post credit scene setting up a ‘THUNDERBOLTS’ project? That I cannot confirm,” he tweeted.
It’s unclear what William is actually filming, but stay tuned as we try and learn more! The film will hit theaters on May 1, 2020.
