Fans Are Raving About Netflix's 'Mucho Mucho Amor' Documentary About Latin Astrologer Walter Mercado
Latin astrologer Walter Mercado is the subject of Netflix’s brand new documentary film, Mucho Mucho Amor, and fans are loving every minute of it.
If you don’t know who Walter Mercado is, his is an “iconic, gender non-conforming astrologer, who mesmerized 120 million Latino viewers with his extravagance and positivity” before disappearing from the public eye.
The film goes in depth as to why Walter sort of went into hiding and also shines a light on how he had to fight for his name and likeness in court against his former manager.
Walter unfortunately died in November 2019 from kidney failure.
“As someone who watched Walter Mercado as a kid, thank you Netflix for the special!!! It made me happy and cry Crying face I loved it! I loved the ending credits too. There’s no other way to end it #WalterMercado #MuchoMuchoAmor,” one fan reacted to the film.
Another added, “Oof when I see Walter Mercado’s name trending on Twitter my heart skips a beat. He would be so happy to see this reaction from the Latinx community, he was always so shocked that those of us who grew up with him still loved him so deeply. Thank you Walter!”
Mucho Mucho Amor is streaming now on Netflix.

Walter Mercado spooked the shit outta me when I was little!! My mom is a hardcore catholic so she never got into him but as I got older I would always sneak in to hear my horoscope. I was always fascinated by him. Just wondering who else will be watching the Netflix doc on him?🔮 pic.twitter.com/viaaXNEfxM

Just saw the Walter Mercado Netflix film and I have to say that it makes me really happy that two of the most legendary Latinos are flamboyant gay men, Walter Mercado and Juan Gabriel. With Latino culture being so homophobic, it's pretty impressive what these two achieved.
