ACLU Extends Help & Services To Britney Spears In Her Conservatorship Battle With Dad Jamie

Britney Spears is getting a little help from the ACLU amid her battle with dad Jamie Spears about his conservatorship over her.

Just recently, the 38-year-old singer filed new papers to end her dad’s conservatorship, according to her attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III. Instead, it’s reported that Britney would prefer another to it take over.

Now, the ACLU is stepping into her legal battle and offering their services, should Britney need them.

“People with disabilities have a right to lead self-directed lives and retain their civil rights,” the organization wrote on Twitter. “If Britney Spears wants to regain her civil liberties and get out of her conservatorship, we are here to help her.”
