Cash blogged about his experience at the DNC, saying, “This was our first trip as a family… It’s always nerve-racking for new parents to fly with their child because you never know if you’re going to ruin everyone else’s flight with a screaming baby. (To date, Honor has been a great baby. Rarely crying. Opting to express herself through simple Haiku’s or interpretive dance instead…yeah right. My girl’s got opinions. lol).”

Fantastic actress Jessica Alba, who gave birth to daughter Honor Marie Warren 5 1/2 weeks ago, opens up to OK! Magazine about being a new mom. Here’s what she had to say:

On her natural, hypnobirthing delivery: “I didn’t scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation. I did yoga breathing. I was focused.” (Cash marveled at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth, adding, “She didn’t make a sound. It was amazing.”)

On Honor bringing so much joy to her life: “It hasn’t totally sunk in. She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn’t seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she’s connected to the other world, or something. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s a miracle.”

On getting her post-baby body in shape: “”I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow. Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”

Jess, 27, also was seen shopping with a friend in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

The proud mom gave birth to Honor Marie Warren last month and she supposedly looks like Jess, according to brother Josh.

Jessica Alba’s younger brother, Joshua, is opening up to a number of media outlets about his niece, Honor Marie Warren.

“Jessica did everything natural,” the 25-year-old actor tells E! “It was all natural. It went really well [except] my dad [Mark Alba] was on a business trip in Florida, and Jessica just flew him in last minute. He is so upset he has to fly back today.”

“[Honor] is gorgeous,” adds Uncle Josh. “She looks just like my sister. We are all just ecstatic. She definitely looks like an Alba to me.”

As reported yesterday, Jessica Alba gave birth to a healthy baby girl this past weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

People reports that Honor Marie Warren was born on Saturday.

“I don’t want to be my child’s best friend. I want to be a mom,” Alba recently told Fit Pregnancy. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”

Their beautiful baby girl was born this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Alba’s rep has yet to officially comment on the baby news.

Jess, 26, and Cash, 28, announced they were expecting last December and shortly after, announced their engagement. The pair married at a secret ceremony on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse.

Jess, 27, and Cash, 31, were later seen at the Beverly Center to do some shopping at the Bath And Beyond. When photographers began to ask questions, Cash jumped into the photographer’s car, took his car keys and threw them across the parking lot. Yikes!

Jess and Cash expect their first child together in the next few weeks. The couple got married in a Beverly Hills courthouse last Monday.

Both Cash and business pal Baron Davis (of NBA’s Golden State Warriors) were honored with the humanitarian award for producing the documentary Made in America about gang violence in L.A. The pair also co-founded IBeatYou.com, a social networking competition site where users are encouraged to submit audio, pictures and video and compete with others to be voted the winner. Alba has helped them out by participating in a music video contest and a staring contest.

Jess, 27, and Cash, 31, are expecting a daughter in late May/early June.
