J.K. Rowling is allowing fans to find out their own Patronus animal!

In fact, the 51-year-old Harry Potter author revealed hers to be a pine marten when she originally took the test “ages ago,” but now it has changed!

“As many of you have now realised, the @pottermore Patronus Test is finally live!” J.K. tweeted. “I took the @pottermore test (which I wrote) ages ago when it was a work in progress and got a pine marten Patronus. I was happy, because…… my fondness for weaselly creatures is well documented. However, when we finalised the @pottermore test last week I took it again…… and found that it had changed (which, as we know, can happen). My new Patronus has personal associations and I like it even better…… so as far as I’m concerned, the @pottermore test works! Here’s my Patronus…It’s a heron :)”

Eddie Redmayne Reveals His Favorite 'Harry Potter' Book & Film!

Eddie Redmayne gets ready to attend the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics on Friday (August 5) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 34-year-old English actor was joined by his wife Hannah Bagshawe and their one-month-old daughter Iris (not pictured).

In preparation for his upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Eddie recently opened up about his favorite Harry Potter movie and book.

“My favorite film is probably the finale — Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” Eddie told Entertainment Weekly. “With the last two, they had something I kept rewatching, going back and watching Ralph Fiennes and Daniel Radcliffe do that extraordinary duel.”

“When you’re [casting spells on set], the effects of this huge tension of what’s coming out of your wand is put [into the shot in post-production; you’re] literally acting with nothing,” he added. “And I found it so operatic and deeply moving. I found it so climatically satisfying.”

As for his favorite J.K. Rowling novel, Eddie has a soft spot for “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

“I suppose I’d go with the first,” he said. “My little brother, when he was six years old, he would always read it, and it had that instant immersion into the world that made you release your imagination.”

J.K. Rowling Announces She's 'Done' With 'Harry Potter'

Sad news for Harry Potter fans!

Author J.K. Rowling has announced that she’s officially done with Harry‘s story after The Cursed Child.

“[Harry] goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done,” J.K. told Reuters. “This is the next generation, you know. So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.”

She added, “[The play] chimed perfectly with the material I had about the next generation and I could see it would work perfectly. So, I never wanted to write another novel, but this will give the fans something special.”

The play takes place 19 years later, and follows Harry‘s son Albus Severus as he attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which is now playing on London’s West End, was released in book form on J.K. and Harry‘s birthdays – July 31!
