James Lipton, the longtime host of Inside the Actors Studio, has sadly passed away at the age of 93.
He died peacefully at his home on Monday (March 2), TMZ reports, and his wife Kedakai Turner added in a statement, “There are so many James Lipton stories but I’m sure he would like to be remembered as someone who loved what he did and had tremendous respect for all the people he worked with.”
Over the years, James interviewed huge stars and asked them questions about their craft. His first guest was Paul Newman and he stopped hosting the show in 2018 with his last guest being Ted Danson.
James also worked as an actor with appearances on Arrested Development, Guiding Light, The Goldbergs, and more.
