One of John Mayer‘s songs is getting the TV show treatment!

ABC has ordered an one-hour drama pilot based on the 41-year-old singer’s song “Heart of Life.”

The show will follow “two sets of adult siblings from wildly different worlds who discover they’re related and must reassess everything they thought they knew about their shared father. As they explore the mystery of their separate childhoods, they’ll experience the difficulty in overcoming the sins of the past, and learn the joys of reuniting with long-lost family,” Variety reports.

John will be serving as executive producer on the series.

“Heart of Life” was one of the songs on John‘s 2006 album Continuum.

John Mayer is going out on tour this summer!

The 41-year-old entertainer announced that he will kick off his solo tour on July 19 in Albany, New York and end the tour in September in Inglewood, Calif. Tickets go on sale on February 1.

John is also part of the band Dead & Company, which consists of former Grateful Dead members, and they will be out on tour from May 31st to July 6th.

John Mayer has a third nipple and showed his live audience during his Sunday evening Instagram Live show, “Current Mood” alongside his pal Andy Cohen.

While on the show, Andy was giving John tips about how to make headlines in the press. Andy decided to ask John some questions about fetishes and exes before moving on to a question about his nipples.

Then John revealed, “I have three nipples. This is a Current Mood first.”

John then called the nipple a, “supernumerary nipple,” but Andy was skeptical.

“You’re the worst doctor ever!” John said to Andy. “I showed you something with a medical name and you kept going, ‘It might be!’”

Finally, Andy asked if his third nipple was sensitive and John responded, “No, but my first and second aren’t either.”

Here’s what the 41-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag…

On not taking fashion too seriously: “You shouldn’t let fashion hurt your feelings. If it does, that’s a good indicator you’re taking it way too seriously.”

On fashion in 2019: “The year 2019 is the year of coziness. Of waving your freak flag high…You are free to wear what you please, to sing what you like, and to see what else you can get away with. The only consequence of failure in fashion is that you shrug it off, have a laugh, dig up some more inspiration, and try again tomorrow.”

On what he’s realized as he’s gotten olden: “The older I get, the more I come to realize that’s all I’m in search of—the intensity of inspiration that usually comes and goes with your first project.”

John Mayer is honoring the memory of the late Mac Miller, who sadly died at the age of 26 earlier this year.

John posted his tribute on his Instagram on Friday (December 28).

“Several weeks ago, I was sent an email asking if I wanted to take part in a Mac Miller tribute for a magazine as part of an end-of-year recap. I passed on it, not because I didn’t want to talk more about him, but because I couldn’t; I had shared all the memories I had of him in the brief time of our getting to know one another,” he revealed.

“I replied to the email and sat in silence for a few minutes. That day, I discovered a new dimension to the sadness of his passing – I wasn’t upset because I knew him well. I was upset because I didn’t. I wish I had more to tell you about Mac Miller. What I do have to remember him by are a couple of beautiful mental photographs that I’ll keep with me the rest of my life.

The 27-year-old American Horror Story actress and the 17-year-old model supported the 41-year-old “New Light” singer and the 45-year-old stand-up comedian at the event held at the Peppermint Club on Thursday (December 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Also in attendance were Madison Beer, her boyfriend Zack Bia, and Wiz Khalifa.

“Me x Dave x that weird week between Christmas and New Year’s where you have no idea what day it is = #controlleddanger,” John captioned an Instagram photo of himself and Dave on stage.
