Hugh Jackman says to prepare for more of Logan, otherwise known as Wolverine, but don’t expect to see Hugh returning to play the role!

The 49-year-old Logan star, who picked up an award for Best Actor at the 2018 Empire Awards on Sunday night (March 18) in London, addressed the future of the franchise in an interview on the red carpet of the event.

“There will be Logan, just not with me…someone will do it,” he explained.

“If I can use a gymnastics term, I felt like we stuck the landing. For me, it was a nerve-wracking time. It’d been a long time, and I never felt like we really got to the heart of the character like we did this time.”

Millie Bobby Brown just revealed that she was up for the role opposite Hugh Jackman in Logan.

The 13-year-old actress auditioned for X-23, which eventually went to Dafne Keen.

“I went for Logan, I went for the little girl. It meant so much for me,” Millie told Variety. “I was filming Stranger Things and I was like, This is going to be amazing, I’m gonna really prepare. I sat in my room reading the lines. Honestly, for me, I felt so – I felt an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me.”

Millie said about Dafne, “I watched it, she was incredible.”

Hugh Jackman‘s Logan arrived in theaters this weekend, and the numbers have come in!

The film made a whopping $85,300,000 this weekend, making the movie the biggest opening of the year so far! In addition, the film made $237.8 million globally.

Next up was Jordan Peele‘s Get Out, which made $26,110,695 in its second weekend at the box office.

The Shack also opened this weekend and brought in $16,100,000, with The Lego Batman Movie slightly behind at $11,650,000.

Rounding out the top five was Zoey Deutch‘s Before I Fall, which brought in $4,948,538 during its opening weekend.
