“It’s getting long. It’s growing out,” Michelle‘s hairstylist Chris McMillan recently shared. “We’re just cutting the underneath. It’s called an undercut haircut.”

Chris added, “That is one way of growing a short pixie haircut out. You cut the underneath layers and keep the top longer.”

“Glinda can’t be omniscient because then she has no struggle,” Michelle recently told the L.A. Times about her character. “If she already knows everything about the situation, there’s nothing for her to discover.”

“Quadlings, Tinkers and Munchkins didn’t mean much to me; it wasn’t my language,” Michelle added about the groups of misfits her character benevolently rules over. “But when I thought of them as Native Americans trying to inhabit their land or about women getting the right to vote, it made a lot more sense.”
