Here’s what the girls – Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Hamilton, and Dinah Hansen – had to share with the mag:
On what they look for in a guy:
Camila: Someone to be a good person, because that’s a foundation for everything. And somebody that isn’t afraid. I feel like so many guys just hold back because they’re afraid of getting hurt, and you can’t love somebody that way. I think that’s what a lot of people do, and it’s B.S. So for me, somebody brave enough to actually feel and be proud of what they’re feeling and manifest it.
Lauren: For me, honesty is a huge thing, and loyalty, when it comes to relationships. I like the ability to engage intellectually with someone. I get so bored so quickly, so if you can’t keep me interested, then I’m out.
Dinah Jane: Personality. You gotta make me laugh. You gotta, you know, run your pockets for me. I got that line from a Nicki Minaj concert. She was like, “If you got a man, and he wants to shower you with gifts, let him. It’s OK. Run that fool’s pockets!” It was really funny. But someone who respects you a lot is a really big thing for me. R-E-S- P-E-C-T. You better have that for me.
Normani: You have to respect me and the loved ones I have around me (like my family), which is my no. 1 priority. They mean everything to me. Somebody who accepts me for who I am, for my past and what’s to come, and who wouldn’t try to change me in any way.
Ally: Someone who just has a really good heart. It’s so attractive. Someone who makes you feel beautiful and encourages you – makes you better. And somebody who really loves God, and ultimately is like my best friend.
