Prince Jackson is defending grandfather Joe Jackson after his passing earlier this week.

The 21-year-old son of Michael Jackson took to his Instagram stories to defend Joe amid controversial comments regarding how he raised his children.

“Keep talking all the s**t you want that he abused my dad and all this…but he raised these kids right. Otherwise they would have been in gangs or f**king dead,” Prince said in the video.

Prince added that he plans to make a YouTube video about his grandfather.

Joe passed away on Wednesday (June 27) after a battle with a terminal illness.

Members of the Jackson family are mourning the loss of the family’s patriarch, Joe Jackson, who died on Wednesday morning (June 27).

Paris Jackson, Prince Jackson and La Toya Jackson are among many of the Jackson family members sharing their memories on social media.

“spending those last few moments with you were everything. being able to tell you everything i needed to tell you before saying goodbye was such a blessing. everyone that came to visit you, came with love, respect, and so much pride in their hearts for you. proud of you, proud to be your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, proud to have your strength and share the dynasty you spent your life creating, and proud to be a jackson,” Paris wrote.

“This man is and always will be an example of sheer willpower and dedication. He didn’t choose the path that was the easiest but he choose the path that was best for his family,” Prince wrote.

“I will always love you! You gave us strength, you made us one of the most famous families in the world. I am extremely appreciative of that, I will never forget our moments together and how you told me how much you cared. #RIP Joe Jackson,” La Toya wrote.

Prince Jackson walks the red carpet at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

The 21-year-old son of the late Michael Jackson was at the event to support his aunt Janet Jackson, who was presented the Icon Award during the show.

Prince and his girlfriend recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. In March, he posted an Instagram photo and said, “I had such an amazing time in San Fran celebrating our year together❤️.”

The model and actress took over the restaurant and patio with her friends an family. They enjoyed fried chicken sliders, spicy curly fries, salmon, tuna tartare, and more while overlooking Los Angeles.

Paris was also joined by her brother Prince Jackson and longtime friend Lee Daniels. The party was a joint celebration with her friend and manager Tom Hamilton.

Paris Jackson made it a family affair at the premiere of her new film Gringo!

The 19-year-old model and actress stepped out at the event on Tuesday night (March 6) in Los Angeles.

Paris was joined by her old brother Prince, although the duo walked the carpet separately.

“Can’t wait to see my sis @parisjackson,” Prince wrote on his Instagram stories.

Later, Paris took to her own account to share photos from the carpet, simply writing, “thankful.”

While the late Michael Jackson‘s kids Paris and Prince are often seen in the public eye, we rarely get to see their younger brother Blanket.

Paris, 19, just shared a rare new photo of her and her brothers celebrating Christmas together!

Featured in the photo with Paris are Prince, 20, Blanket, 15, and rapper Omer Bhatti, who she considers to be a brother.

“happy christmas from ours to yours #brahdas,” Paris captioned the photo on her Instagram account.

Blanket reportedly changed his name to Bigi in 2015 and the last time he made an appearance at a public event was in 2013.
