Charlize Theron hits the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Dark Places on Tuesday (July 21) at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance at the premiere, which was sponsored by Apothic Wines and Svedka Vodka, were her co-stars Christina Hendricks and Shannon Kook, as well as movie legend Sophia Loren with her son Edoardo Ponti.

The new film is based on a book by Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn and in a joint interview with E! News, Charlize revealed her plans to get the writer to pen a sequel to the hit book.

“You have to, come on, you have to,” Charlize told her. “I’ll get her drunk tonight and make her sign a contract.”

FYI: Charlize is wearing a Dior dress, Harry Winston jewelry, and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Christina is wearing a Max Mara outfit with a Jenny Packham clutch.

Cate Blanchett is absolutely stunning while striking a pose at the Giorgio Armani 40th Anniversary Silos Opening & Cocktail Reception on Thursday (April 30) in Milan, Italy.

The 45-year-old actress was joined at the event by her husband Andrew Upton, Aishwarya Rai, Hilary Swank, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, Tina Turner and her husband Erwin Bach, Sophia Loren, and Roberta Armani.

Michelle Monaghan looks chic and sophisticated while attending Sophia Loren‘s Special Tribute held during the 2014 AFI Festival at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 38-year-old actress was joined by Sophia‘s son, director Edoardo Ponti and his wife, Rizzoli & Isles actress Sasha Alexander, conductor Carlo Ponti, violinist Andrea Meszaros Ponti, and the honoree herself.

“I always feel like I owe these people so much for what they have given me,” Sophia expressed at the event (via THR). “I never forget what I’ve come from: Naples and the war and terrible things – violence and hunger and everything.”

Sophia Loren is surrounded by stars while attending her 80th birthday gala held on Saturday (September 20) at Museo Soumaya in Mexico City, Mexico.

The legendary actress was joined at the party by actors Forest Whitaker, Jon Voight, and Andy Garcia. The party was thrown by her longtime friend Carlos Slims, who just so happens to be the richest man in the world.

Sophia‘s son, director Edoardo Ponti and his wife, Rizzoli & Isles actress Sasha Alexander, were in attendance at the gala as well!

On turning to Yoga: “I have a hard time sitting still. I can be all over the map. Yoga has given me the ability to be more focused and make better decisions that come from a clear place. It’s made me more successful. I love it and I don’t know what I do without it.”

On his style secrets: “I tend to go for clothes with a classic feel. But I also want them to have a story, a history, some meaning. I don’t want to buy a T-shirt and then go out to lunch and see someone else wearing the same thing. I want my clothes to be unique. Not necessarily expensive, just one of a kind.”
