The Beckham Family Cheer

Call him Captain Beckham!

David Beckham #23 of the Los Angeles Galaxy plays captain for the day, controlling the ball during the Superliga semifinals on Wednesday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

The 32-year-old English superstar scored his first goal on a free kick in the 27th minute, aiding Galaxy’s 2-0 victory over D.C. United.

“It’s very satisfying,” Beckham said. “I wanted to get off to a good start. I’m happy.”

Beckham‘s wife Victoria and their three sons — Brooklyn (pictured below), Romeo (left) and Cruz (center) — all cheers Mr. Golden Balls on as they watched the match from their box seats.
