James Franco Enrolls at Columbia University

Spider-Man star James Franco has enrolled in Columbia University‘s Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Writing Program for Fall 2008, according to the school’s unofficial blog BWOG.

The 29-year-old former Freaks & Geeks actor will also reportedly take classes at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU).

Franco can later this year be seen playing Scott Smith, Harvey Milk’s (Sean Penn) lover and campaign manager in the upcoming film, Milk, out November 2008.
