Cheryl Cole Drops Her Last Name

Cheryl Cole has reportedly dropped her last name, and wants to be referred to by her first name – Cheryl.

According to The Sun, the British singer is not removing Cole legally, it’s just a career statement.

Cheryl was recently married to Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole, who she divorced in 2010 following several high-profile claims that he had cheated on her.

A source told the paper, “[Cheryl's] in a really good place at the moment and wants to take life by the balls. She can’t wait to start performing live again and her new stage name has given her comeback an extra bit of spice.”
